Dr. Chanté Wiegand is a licensed, board-certified
naturopathic physician. She received her doctorate in naturopathic
medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, an accredited
institution and a leading university in the natural health sciences.
Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, her path has since taken her all over the United States. She attended Middlebury College in Vermont and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Later, she attended Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon to complete her pre-medical requirements.
Dr. Chanté has undergone extensive training in natural medicine and preventative care at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle. She is trained in general family medicine, but her specialties include food sensitivites especially gluten intolerance and celiac disease, gastrointestinal disorders, hormonal imbalance, and chronic illness. She believes that every person is unique and complex, and offers customized, well-researched approaches. She also believes in the power of education, taking one step at a time, and always digging deeper and deeper to uncover the obstacles that are preventing true wellness.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Chanté is currently Director of Communication and Education for The Synergy Company, a leader in organic, whole foods vitamins, minerals and superfoods. Dr. Chanté is a professional member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), an organization which dedicates itself to the advancement of naturopathic medicine.
When not working, she can be found adventuring and enjoying life to the fullest in her home of Jackson Hole, Wyoming with her husband, John, and son, Reed.
